Evesham Leisure Centre, Worcestershire, UK
More than 20,000 square metres of fermacell has been used in three different types of application within a superb new £11 million Evesham Leisure Centre Complex built for Wychavon District Council in Worcestershire.
The 4,500 m² leisure centre was designed to replace an outdated facility opened 30 years ago. The building and particularly
the swimming pool had become tired and in great need of modernisation. Now the centre includes a 25 metre swimming pool, a 12 metre studio pool with changeable floor to alter depth for aqua-aerobics, 4 badminton courts, five-a-side football, gymnastics and dance hall. The new facilities are first class with moveable floors and dramatic curved walls, perfect for all ages and abilities.
