fermacell® Powerpanel: Durable under high mechanical stress and in damp conditions
fermacell® cement-bonded boards offer high resistance to moisture, water and mechanical stress. Depending on the version, they are reinforced with glass fibre mesh and are particularly suitable for high-traffic areas such as bathrooms, showers, sanitary and wellness rooms, as well as for facades or ceilings in both indoor and outdoor areas. Thanks to their specific properties, which result from individual formulations, they are suitable for specialised applications.
The fermacell® Powerpanel product range is used wherever building materials are subjected to high stresses – in interior fit-outs, on external façades or in industrial applications. Thanks to their sandwich structures, some of which feature glass fibre reinforcement, they are particularly resistant to high levels of moisture and offer high compressive and flexural strength, whilst being easy to work with.
Designed for areas with high humidity and resistant to water. When installed correctly, it offers a long service life, even when used outdoors.
It can be processed without the need for special protective measures. No harmful dust is produced during cutting.
These panels offer high compressive and flexural strength and are suitable as a substrate for plaster, tiles, coatings or paint.
