fermacell® floor systems
Gypsum fibreboard floor panels
fermacell® gypsum fibre screed elements consist of two gypsum fibre boards of different thicknesses bonded together. They are available with or without various types of insulation laminate. Depending on the insulation material used, they provide effective thermal, airborne and impact sound insulation. They can also help to improve fire safety.
Powerpanel TE
fermacell® Powerpanel TE screed panels are cement-bound, lightweight concrete dry screed panels for wet and damp rooms. They consist of two lightweight concrete slabs arranged in a staggered pattern, reinforced with glass fibre and featuring a stepped joint to ensure a stable and friction-locked connection between the elements.
Therm25™ elements
Therm25™TM Underfloor heating elements consist of 25 mm thick gypsum fibreboards, the upper surface of which is milled using a special system. As they are up to 40 per cent thinner than wet systems, their low weight also makes them suitable for installation on wooden beam ceilings. Therm25™TM can be used in all areas of application and combine a load-distribution layer with underfloor heating in a 100 per cent dry system.
Elevation compensation
Levelling fill or bound fill can be used to level out uneven surfaces and compensate for height differences in all dry subfloor systems and conventional screeds. The fermacell® thermal insulation fill is used to provide seamless thermal insulation for dry cavities. To improve sound insulation, the special fermacell® honeycomb fill can be used in conjunction with screed elements laid on top of it.
