Dry screed. Any floor. Any requirement.
The tried-and-tested system solution for floor structures in new-build and renovation projects.
Whether it’s a timber-beamed ceiling in an old building or a concrete ceiling in a new build – for every type of substrate and every application A tried-and-tested, reliable solution is available. Quick to lay, ready to walk on straight away and ready for carpeting after 24 hours!
Dry screeds offer a wide range of benefits for the design of floor structures, which are particularly evident in terms of building physics, cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
The dry installation method, which requires no water, the fact that the floor can be walked on immediately, and the low weight per unit area ensures a quick and smooth construction process.
Dry installation means: no moisture in the building structure. This protects sensitive substrates and prevents the risk of mould caused by trapped water.
Once the joints have been sealed, the floor is ready. Subsequent trades can begin immediately – no loss of construction time, no downtime on site.
With a density of 23 kg/m² or more, dry screeds can be laid even on structurally challenging types of sub-floors with limited load-bearing capacity.
Our products play a key role in ensuring efficiency. From the subfloor to the floor covering – every requirement has been carefully considered. We support designers and installers in selecting the right system and finding the ideal installation method for every project.
Suitable for use on any load-bearing ceiling from approx. 23 kg/m². Tested load-bearing capacities for all standard applications – from residential to commercial use.
Wooden beams, concrete, OSB, steel, uneven surfaces – the fermacell™ levelling system provides a safe, standard-compliant base on any surface.
Tested solutions for bathrooms, saunas and wet areas – including cement-bound dry screed for specific requirements.
Only natural materials, no synthetic binders. Certified as suitable for healthy living. Plaster actively regulates humidity – ensuring a consistently comfortable indoor climate.
Parquet, tiles, vinyl, natural stone, large-format tiles – we have certified installation instructions for every type of flooring. We have the answer to everything.
Comprehensive approvals for structural engineering, fire safety and sound insulation. All documentation provided from a single source – from tendering to final acceptance.
When it comes to flooring, we leave nothing to chance.
Every floor is different. Different ceiling, different load-bearing capacity, different flooring, different requirements. fermacell® doesn’t have just one solution for this diversity – but many.
Tested, documented, predictable.
